Senior OpenText VIM Consultant

About the role

The client seeks a senior OpenText VIM expert to lead the upgrade and modernization of their existing VIM applications. You will act as the primary subject‑matter expert, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to define the current landscape, identify gaps, and design the target solution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end upgrade of OpenText VIM solutions.
• Analyze the current VIM and ECM environment and recommend the optimal upgrade approach.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all OpenText VIM requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team.
• Coordinate with business users, architects, SAP teams, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex VIM and ECM issues during implementation and post‑upgrade phases.
• Ensure best practices, governance, and documentation are followed throughout the project.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior consultant or SME in OpenText VIM.
• Strong background in enterprise content management and system upgrades.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams including SAP and architecture groups.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex VIM/ECM issues.
