Senior .NET Software Engineer – AI & Automation

About the role

CORTO is building AI‑driven solutions for the legal industry. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our AI and Automation team and own the development of APIs that power document ingestion and integration with our Core AI platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain microservices for document ingestion and integrations using C# and .NET.
• Maintain and enhance Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that connect enterprise knowledge sources with Large Language Models.
• Prototype and experiment with new AI techniques, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Work extensively with AWS services such as S3, ECS, SQS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into efficient solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with ASP.NET Web API.
• Proven track record designing scalable, event‑driven systems.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of product components.
