Senior National Account Manager

About the role

This senior commercial position reports directly to the Head of Sales and works closely with the Founder and CEO of a fast‑growing Australian hair‑care brand. You will own the brand’s key retail partnerships across major grocery and pharmacy chains, driving revenue, profit and distribution while leading new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage relationships with major Australian grocery and pharmacy accounts.
• Develop and execute Joint Business Plans aligned with retailer and brand objectives.
• Manage customer P&L, delivering revenue, profit and distribution targets.
• Lead trading term negotiations, business reviews and promotional planning.
• Analyse sales performance, market data and retailer insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead sell‑in for new product launches from business case to in‑store execution.
• Partner with retailers on category growth initiatives, ranging submissions and merchandising.
• Maintain forecasting accuracy and collaborate on inventory planning with supply chain.
• Work cross‑functionally with marketing, finance and operations to deliver commercial plans.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of FMCG sales and national account management experience.
• Proven track record managing major Australian grocery or pharmacy retailers.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands‑on P&L management.
• Solid analytical and forecasting capability.
• Experience launching new products into major retail accounts.
• Background in beauty, personal care or health & wellness is preferred.
• Experience in high‑growth or challenger brand environments is highly regarded.
