Senior Managing Consultant – Data Engineer (Databricks)

About the role

Altis Consulting is seeking a hands‑on Senior Managing Consultant who will design and deliver modern data solutions for clients across Queensland. You will bridge business challenges with technical expertise, leading projects from concept through to implementation while mentoring junior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable data platforms, pipelines, integration and analytics solutions.
• Work with cloud technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical architectures.
• Guide and mentor consultants, fostering a strong engineering culture.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in data engineering, architecture or analytics consulting with client‑facing delivery.
• Proven ability to lead projects or small technical teams.
• Comfortable solving ambiguous problems and communicating solutions to both engineers and executives.
