Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Line 2 Risk and Compliance team at Mercer Super. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne (or Sydney) and requires at least three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Compliance Manager, Regulatory Compliance.
• Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related policies.
• Provide compliance advice, review and challenge to the Line 1 Risk & Controls team and business stakeholders.
• Oversee key compliance processes including conflicts management, obligations management and regulatory change.
• Complete due diligence reviews of externally facing regulated documents and contribute to internal and external reporting.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders across Mercer Super and the Marsh Pacific compliance function.

Required profile

• Experience in governance, risk and compliance practices within superannuation.
• Ability to assess regulatory obligations and provide practical advice to stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Tertiary qualifications in law or a business‑related discipline.
