Senior Manager – Business Advisory & Tax (Sydney)

About the role

This senior leadership position sits at the heart of a well‑established professional services firm operating across the Asia‑Pacific. Reporting directly to partners, you will own a portfolio of private‑business clients, delivering tax and advisory solutions while positioning yourself for a clear pathway to Director and eventually Partner.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of business services and tax advisory clients across multiple industries.
• Provide strategic tax and commercial advice to founders, CFOs and senior decision‑makers.
• Review complex financial statements, tax returns and advisory deliverables.
• Act as a trusted advisor, supporting client growth and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop managers and junior staff within the practice.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Extensive experience in business services and tax advisory within a professional services environment.
• Strong technical capability across compliance and advisory work.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and leading teams.
• Ambition to progress to Director in a supportive, succession‑focused firm.
