Senior Management Accountant

About the role

This senior finance position goes beyond reporting – you will partner with senior leaders to influence commercial outcomes and improve performance planning across the ANZ business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities for the ANZ region.
• Develop and maintain driver‑based financial models covering revenue, expenses and headcount.
• Deliver monthly management reporting with actionable insights.
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities to support informed decision‑making.
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate data into recommendations.
• Drive process improvement, automation and reporting enhancements using Power BI and other analytical tools.
• Support governance, financial controls and compliance with Zurich standards.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams on planning and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Financial Management.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling capability.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Proven experience driving process improvement and automation.
• Excellent stakeholder management with confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
