Senior M365/Power Platform Developer – Hybrid (Melbourne)

About the role

Our federal government client is looking for a Senior M365/Power Platform Developer to work on a hybrid basis in Melbourne. The role involves building solutions on Microsoft Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and integrating with GIS and Power BI to enhance data governance and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a Dataverse data model with security, workflow automation, and lifecycle management.
• Create validated Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven) with business rules and quality checks.
• Develop integrations with GIS and Power BI, including automated export patterns.
• Establish governance, audit history, role‑based access, and documentation.
• Provide training, handover, and support materials for internal staff.

Required profile

• Minimum baseline security clearance.
• Proven experience developing Power Apps and Power Automate flows.
• Consulting experience with solution architecture and stakeholder management.
• Strong communication and ability to troubleshoot complex workflows.
• Foundational knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform.
