Senior M365 Specialist

About the role

This senior position sits within Datacom's Microsoft 365 Centre of Excellence, providing technical escalation support and delivering first‑class modern workplace services across Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical escalation point for Microsoft 365 services, guiding customers toward adoption and continuous improvement.
• Deliver enablement and productivity outcomes across data, files, communication, collaboration, security, and identity management.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft identity management components such as Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS and Microsoft Identity Manager.
• Manage and optimise Office 365 collaboration tools including Teams, Planner, Groups, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Yammer.
• Integrate and support video‑conferencing solutions like Teams, Poly, Cisco and Zoom.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship (required for NV1 security clearance).
• Extensive hands‑on experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer within an ICT professional services environment.
• Proven ability to deliver technical solutions and advise customers on modern workplace best practices.

Required skills

• Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS, Microsoft Identity Manager.
• Exchange Online, Exchange Online Protection, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Planner, Groups, Yammer.
• Video‑conferencing platforms: Teams, Poly, Cisco, Zoom.
• Email security and archiving: Office 365 ATP/EOP, Mimecast, Avepoint.
• Azure AD authentication technologies: Password Hash Sync, Pass‑thru Authentication, Seamless SSO, Azure MFA, Self‑Service Password Reset.
