About the role

Zaparas Lawyers, a leading personal injury firm in Melbourne, is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant to support its WorkCover, TAC, Public Liability and Superannuation practice. You will work closely with experienced solicitors, providing essential administrative and client‑service support throughout the litigation process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with general administration, filing, and diary management.
• Open new files, draft letters, medical‑legal instructions and court documents.
• Compile briefs, monitor critical dates and ensure deadlines are met.
• Liaise proactively with supervising solicitors and relevant parties to advance matters.
• Handle enquiries via phone and in‑person, providing professional client service.

Required profile

• Experience as a legal assistant with exposure to personal injury law.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple files.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Required skills

• Proficiency in legal administration and document preparation.
• Familiarity with litigation procedures and court filing processes.
