Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Alliance Automation is looking for a hands‑on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own complex technical work, provide senior escalation support and deliver reliable, secure infrastructure across a multi‑site environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and support secure, scalable network and infrastructure solutions, including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs and wireless.
• Manage Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Intune.
• Provide advanced technical support, mentor junior staff and handle escalated incidents.
• Perform infrastructure health assessments, compliance audits and security hardening.
• Maintain technical standards, documentation and operational procedures.
• Support cyber‑security programs, vulnerability remediation and Microsoft Defender solutions.
• Contribute to capacity planning, solution design and strategic road‑maps.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in senior systems or infrastructure engineering roles within Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network, server and virtualization issues.
• Strong collaboration skills with business and technical teams.
