Senior ICT Consultant

About the role

Arup is seeking an experienced Senior ICT Consultant to join its Melbourne team. You will work on high‑quality ICT and digital infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of ICT and digital infrastructure projects under senior engineers and project leaders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers and digital specialists to develop effective technology solutions.
• Support design and documentation of ICT, communications, security and related systems from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare technical specifications, reports and drawings to a high standard.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified professional with 5‑7 years of experience in ICT, telecommunications or digital infrastructure.
• Experience designing and documenting ICT systems for building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical documentation skills, including reports, specifications and drawings.
• Collaborative problem‑solver with a passion for technology, innovation and sustainable outcomes.

• Networking and structured cabling.
• Telecommunications and security systems.
• Smart building technologies.
• BIM‑enabled project delivery.
• Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards (desirable).
