Senior Guidewire Developer Lead (Jutro)

About the role

PwC Australia's Guidewire advisory team delivers end-to-end Guidewire implementations for general insurance clients, and is looking for a senior developer lead to take the team forward. The role combines technical expertise with leadership of a team of developers, working from anywhere. It covers both core Guidewire and digital platforms, including GW PolicyCenter and the Jutro Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement activities to improve the quality and speed of solutions and ways of working
• Lead development teams, including work allocation, technical designs, code reviews and code merges
• Influence wider technology teams such as other developer leads, project managers and Business Analyst Leads
• Work with client business SMEs to understand requirements and turn them into viable solutions
• Maintain and fix issues across dev, QA, UAT and production environments, and take part in unit testing and documentation

Required profile

• Real-time knowledge and experience of enterprise system integration, preferably with an insurance background
• Proven technical and people leadership skills
• Experience with React-based development of micro-frontends and standalone apps
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud, Jutro Digital Platform and React JS
• Experience integrating with other platforms such as document management, finance and digital systems

Required skills

• Software architecture, design patterns and development best practices
• Guidewire toolsets such as Cloud APIs, Digital SDK, APD, Guidewire Testing Framework and Guidewire Cloud Console
• Git/Bucket and integration with other platforms
