Senior Front-End Engineer – Web Applications

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Front‑End Web Engineer to design, build and enhance customer‑centric web applications that help millions manage their money. You will work in a collaborative environment alongside engineers, designers, product managers and business stakeholders to deliver modern, scalable, secure and accessible experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Craft high‑quality, performant user interfaces using React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Drive technical excellence through automated testing, observability and continuous delivery.
• Mentor and coach engineers, influencing front‑end architecture and standards.
• Collaborate across marketing, design, security, architecture and backend teams to deliver shared outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive front‑end software engineering experience with a strong commercial background.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
• Strong customer focus and knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA or higher).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an Agile environment.
