Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

This senior FP&A Analyst position supports Hyundai Capital Australia’s rapid growth by building and maintaining financial models that guide mid‑to‑long‑term planning and decision‑making. The role reports to the Head of FP&A & Strategic Planning and works closely with Sales, Risk, Operations and Treasury.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance dynamic financial models for annual budgeting and strategic planning.
• Monitor monthly budget performance, analyse variances and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct profitability analysis for product planning and assess lifetime profitability of asset originations.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather inputs for forecasts, including funding composition and risk assumptions.
• Deliver detailed financial analysis to executive leadership to support key business decisions.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified with 5–7 years of FP&A or commercial finance experience, preferably in asset finance, banking or financial services.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence and collaborate across all business levels.
• Strong understanding of financial and management accounting and ability to link operational data to business drivers.
• Excellent quantitative, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities to meet strict reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong competence with the broader Microsoft Office suite.
