About the role

We are looking for a high‑performing Senior Financial Accountant to join our fast‑paced finance team in Sydney. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who thrives in a results‑driven environment and enjoys working across complex reporting structures.

Key responsibilities

• Support a robust financial control environment and reporting framework.
• Manage month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist in preparing statutory and internal financial reports.
• Provide insights on accounting treatment and financial reporting impacts.
• Partner with finance, business and technology stakeholders.
• Support external audit requirements and data requests.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• Proven experience in financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Strong understanding of general ledger and financial close processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Financial services experience preferred.
