About the role
Aurora Dairies is seeking an experienced Senior Farm Hand to work on several dairy farms near Smithton. The farms milk 1,100‑1,400 medium‑frame crossbred cows and operate on a 100% spring‑calving schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Drive and uphold animal health and safe operating procedures.
- Perform all aspects of milking and animal husbandry.
- Manage pasture and operate farm machinery.
- Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on equipment.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of dairy industry experience (desired).
- Committed to workplace safety, reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and team‑player mindset.
