Senior Engineer – Application Platforms & Data

About the role

Myriota is looking for a Senior Engineer to design and operate the cloud services layer that powers its global satellite IoT platform. You will lead the technical development of critical cloud infrastructure and build a custom data integration platform that synchronises core business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement AI‑driven operational tooling such as triage agents and anomaly detection models to monitor network telemetry.
• Design tooling for AI‑assisted root‑cause analysis and synthetic security testing.
• Automate operational workflows to move towards a human‑out‑of‑the‑loop model.
• Build custom serverless APIs (e.g., AWS Lambda) for secure data integration across CRM, ERP, accounting and payment systems.
• Develop event‑driven architectures and real‑time triggers to automate order synchronisation, stock updates and invoice capture.
• Create automated device lifecycle and telemetry pipelines covering manufacturing, fulfillment, registration and network usage.
• Develop backend APIs for customer‑facing portals providing real‑time device status, usage, service history and billing.

Required profile

• 4+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python for service development and automation.
• Extensive experience with the AWS ecosystem, especially serverless runtimes (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS).
• Strong experience designing RESTful APIs and integrating third‑party enterprise systems.
• Proven database design skills for both relational and NoSQL stores.
