Senior Electrical Engineer – Buildings

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Buildings team in Queensland. In this role you will lead the electrical design of mid‑to‑large scale projects across sectors such as aviation, defence, data centres and major event infrastructure, delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical design packages for mid to large scale projects.
• Act as discipline lead, owning engineering outcomes from concept through to delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, practical design solutions.
• Support project coordination, reporting and ensure quality outcomes for clients.
• Build and maintain client relationships through consistent delivery and communication.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive and high‑energy team culture.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering building services electrical design in a consulting, contractor or client‑side environment.
• Proven capability leading or contributing to projects valued at $30M–$50M (or similar complexity).
• Experience taking ownership of design delivery, coordination and client interaction.
• Chartered, registered, or actively working towards chartership.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership and drive outcomes.
