Senior Director Analyst - Tech Services Buying Dynamics

About the role

Gartner is hiring a Senior Director Analyst for its Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, focusing on high-tech clients in APAC. The role turns research insights into actionable advice that shapes go-to-market strategies, and involves in-person and virtual client meetings, sales support visits and conference presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking insights and develop new ideas through thought leadership
• Analyze client barriers and needs, then reframe thinking to drive strategy
• Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts for clients and vendors
• Deliver high-value presentations at Gartner events, conferences and client briefings
• Support BTI and sales as the voice of the market, and provide timely peer review of content
• Build credibility as an industry expert and share provocative insights with Gartner leaders
• Mentor and coach junior team members and suggest research process improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience
• Experience working for or supporting professional services firms with operations in APAC
• Familiarity with emerging services markets, especially AI-related projects
• Ability to advise global organizations and regional startups alike
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
