Senior DevOps Engineer – SaaS Platforms

About the role
Quarterbac is looking for an experienced DevOps professional to lead the design, automation and scaling of its multi‑tenant SaaS platforms. You will own the GitHub‑native automation ecosystem and ensure secure, high‑performing CI/CD pipelines for rapid feature delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions for microservices, serverless components and containerised apps on Azure.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Bicep, ARM templates or Terraform and support multi‑tenant architectures.
- Build and evolve a SaaS control plane for automated tenant provisioning, upgrades, feature toggles and de‑provisioning.
- Implement SaaS‑specific deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary, ring‑based rollouts) with rollback mechanisms and environment protections.
- Integrate automated testing (unit, integration, UI) into pipelines and manage GitHub repository strategies.
- Ensure platform security, compliance and observability using GitHub Secrets, OIDC, Dependabot, CodeQL, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support on‑call rotations and drive continuous improvement in deployment frequency and change failure rate.
Required profile
- 5+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering or SRE roles, preferably in high‑growth SaaS environments.
- Strong experience with Azure services (App Service, AKS, Functions, Cosmos DB, Front Door, Entra ID, Key Vault).
- Proven ability to translate engineering requirements into robust automation workflows.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills within Agile teams.
Required skills
- GitHub Actions (YAML workflows, reusable actions, environments, OIDC).
- Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, ARM, Terraform.
- Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
- Scripting/Programming: PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Azure monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
- CI/CD best practices, automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
