Senior Data Project Manager – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

Facto is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead data‑driven initiatives within a large‑scale Supply Chain Discovery and Transformation program. This 6‑month contract, based in Sydney, will focus on the Performance & Insights workstream, specifically the AI and intelligence layer of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data‑driven initiatives across the supply chain performance and insights workstream.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, aligning stakeholders from data engineering, analytics, and business units.
• Own the coordination of the data product layer, ensuring seamless integration between engineering and business teams.
• Document and understand data sources feeding the insights layer, including Snowflake integration.
• Support data modelling workstreams and shape supply‑chain data models ahead of engineering build.
• Manage program delivery rhythms: planning, tracking, reporting, and risk management.
• Drive alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders throughout design and build phases.

Required profile

• Proven delivery experience on data‑driven transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of data product development and the data engineering lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating technical and non‑technical stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.
• Background in supply chain or operations analytics is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity during transition from discovery to active design and build.
