Senior Data Engineer

About the role

O’Brien Glass is investing heavily in data, cloud and digital transformation. As a Senior Data Engineer you will join the Business Intelligence team to design and deliver scalable, cloud‑based data solutions that drive smarter decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end‑to‑end ETL/ELT pipelines in a cloud‑first environment.
• Develop and maintain data models for analytics, reporting and data quality governance.
• Automate data workflows, troubleshoot performance issues and contribute to platform architecture.
• Collaborate with BI, IT and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data delivery.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience in finance, retail or supply‑chain domains is a plus.

Required skills

• Snowflake, DBT and AWS Serverless Data Lake frameworks.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling.
• Power BI or Tableau for visualisation.
• CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practices, GitLab or similar platforms.
