Senior D365 SCM Functional Consultant

About the role

Datacom is seeking a Senior D365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant to lead complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management transformations. You will shape and deliver end‑to‑end supply chain solutions across procurement, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, planning, distribution, costing and traceability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops and translate complex supply‑chain processes into fit‑to‑standard D365 SCM designs and configurations.
• Design and configure procurement, product information, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, planning, distribution and costing capabilities.
• Define product and inventory processes including item structures, GTINs, batches, serials, licence plates, shelf life, quality and end‑to‑end traceability.
• Collaborate with architects and technical teams on integrations with manufacturing, export, costing, logistics and other specialist systems.
• Support data migration, testing, defect resolution, training, cut‑over, go‑live and hyper‑care activities.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions.
• Broad functional knowledge across procurement, product information, inventory, warehousing, manufacturing and planning.
• Experience in supply‑chain projects for manufacturing, food, agribusiness, distribution or traceability‑focused environments.
• Excellent workshop facilitation, requirements analysis, solution design and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a distributed project team.
