Senior Contracts Administrator

About the role

BESIX Watpac is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support its growing portfolio of complex construction projects in Brisbane. The role involves managing tender processes, contract documentation, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and run the trade package tendering process, including compilation, approval, issuance, receipt, comparison of tenders and submission of recommendations.
• Prepare contract documents for trade packages.
• Prepare monthly consolidated reports covering cash‑flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters and cost analysis.
• Administer variation and progress claims under Head and Sub‑contract Agreements.
• Address contract condition matters and liaise with Project and Commercial Managers to maintain internal cost controls.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience leading contracts administration on large building projects, including mentoring and supervising staff.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities across all business levels.
• Ability to work autonomously, using initiative, sound reasoning and effective decision‑making.
