Senior Contract Administrator

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is recruiting a Senior Contract Administrator for its data centre projects in Marsden Park. The role takes ownership of key commercial packages, working closely with experienced project leaders to drive cost outcomes, manage risk and influence project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead trade scoping, procurement and subcontractor negotiations
• Own measurement, valuation, variations and final accounts
• Drive cost control, forecasting and financial reporting across packages
• Manage contract administration, including contractual notices and claims
• Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risk across the project lifecycle
• Work with Project Managers and site teams to provide commercial guidance and support procurement and financial outcomes

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Around 5+ years of post-graduate experience in commercial or contract administration roles
• Strong experience in procurement, cost control, contract management and financial reporting
• Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and contribute to high-performing project teams
