Senior Contract Administrator – Construction Projects

About the role

Roberts is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to join its South East Queensland team. Based on‑site at our Broadbeach office, you will support high‑profile, multi‑storey residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to developing project costs and tender preparation.
• Interpret contract terms, identify financial risks and propose control measures.
• Assess progress claims against contract requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and authorities to ensure contract compliance.
• Prepare and submit progress, variation and contractual claims accurately and on time.
• Support timely processing of subcontractor payments and variation claims.
• Coordinate monthly reporting with the Group’s head‑office commercial, operational and accounting staff.

Required profile

• 7+ years total experience as a contract administrator or 3+ years in a senior role on hard‑dollar projects.
• Experience with tier 1‑3 head contractors delivering full projects, preferably in South East Queensland.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, managing upstream and downstream contract matters.
• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or a related discipline.
