Senior Consultant - Integrated Risk Management

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant in Integrated Risk Management, working on risk, trust, resilience and transformation engagements for public sector, corporate and not-for-profit clients across Oceania. The position is hybrid, based in Warringah (Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne), and may be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to teams delivering risk, trust, resilience and transformation engagements end to end, including designing and implementing enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks, conducting strategic and operational risk assessments, and embedding risk appetite into risk-based decision making.
• Plan, prepare and review client activities and deliverables.
• Work on multiple client engagement teams and build productive relationships with clients.
• Coach and support staff to develop core risk and consulting skills.

Required profile

• Experience in a risk, governance, strategy or compliance role at a blue-chip, government or professional services organisation.
• Experience supervising a team, project or process to completion.
• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance (or an existing clearance).

Required skills

• Knowledge of risk and control concepts and ERM design, implementation and operation.
• Proficiency in risk assessment tools, risk and compliance standards (ISO, ITIL, etc.) and audit techniques.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent writing and communication skills.
