Senior Consultant - Forensics and Integrity Services

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Forensics & Integrity Services (FIS) team in Melbourne, working on high-profile disputes, forensic accounting investigations, contentious quantifications and regulatory matters. The role sits in a multi-disciplinary Oceania FIS team of accountants, risk managers, technology specialists and former regulatory and law enforcement professionals, and is hybrid.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on forensic accounting and disputes engagements, including investigations, commercial disputes, post-acquisition disputes and independent expert matters.
• Conduct financial analysis, document reviews and prepare clear, high-quality reports.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders on complex forensic accounting and dispute issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, legal representatives, insurers and internal teams.
• Assist in preparing forensic accounting, investigation and expert witness reports.
• Contribute to the growth of the Forensics & Integrity Services team.

Required profile

• CA ANZ (or equivalent) qualification, or currently working towards completion.
• Experience in forensic accounting, external audit or a related professional services environment.
• Strong client focus and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with financial data and models.
• Ideally: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability and resilience, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent report writing and attention to detail.
