Senior Consultant – Financial Modelling (Deal Advisory)

About the role

KPMG’s Deal Advisory and Infrastructure practice is expanding its Financial Modelling team. As a Senior Consultant you will apply advanced modelling expertise to high‑profile infrastructure, energy transition and M&A projects across Australia and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop best‑in‑class financial models for pre‑bid, bid and post‑bid stages.
• Review and enhance models supporting large, high‑visibility transactions.
• Manage client engagements or discrete workstreams within larger projects.
• Coach and develop junior staff and client resources.
• Provide financial analysis and interpret model outputs to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong interest in leveraging data analytics and technology for project and transaction modelling.
• Ability to solve complex financial problems logically and methodically.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High numeracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
