Senior Consultant - Corporate Tax, Financial Services

About the role

EY is seeking a high-performing Senior Consultant to join its Financial Services Tax team in Melbourne, as part of a growing Financial Services practice. The team works with banking, wealth and asset management, insurance and superannuation clients, and the consultant works alongside colleagues across Australia's national team. The role suits someone wanting to strengthen their expertise and progress toward management.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the delivery of client engagements while building technical expertise and professional capability.
• Support Australian income tax advisory and compliance services for clients in banking, wealth, asset management, superannuation and insurance.
• Help prepare tax advice, provisions and compliance deliverables for financial services clients.
• Build working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services tax, corporate tax or funds tax, ideally in professional services or industry.
• Solid understanding of Australian tax compliance and advisory principles, with strong analytical skills.
• Ideally, progress towards or completion of a CA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience supporting multiple client engagements and delivering quality outcomes.
