Senior Clinician - Occupational Therapy (Grade 4)

About the role

Footbridge CCU, a 20-bed community-based residential mental health service within St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, is looking for a Senior OT Grade 4 clinician. You will provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and work with the Leadership Team on service development, including reviewing clinical, team and operational processes. The position is permanent, part-time at 0.8 FTE.

Key responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions
• Take part in service development and process reviews at the CCU
• Help develop strategies to improve the quality of service delivered
• Maintain a high standard of clinical practice and professional conduct
• Supervise students and junior OT staff in line with hospital policy

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical experience in Mental Health Services
• AHPRA registration
• Nationally coordinated criminal history check, or willingness to obtain one
