Senior Civil Designer - Resources Project

About the role

An engineering office based in Perth is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer for an initial 6-month+ contract supporting a major resources project. You will join an established project team delivering civil design packages across earthworks, roads and drainage, working full-time (40 hours per week) in an office setting.

Key responsibilities

• Civil design and modelling for earthworks, roadworks and drainage
• Producing accurate drawings, models and associated design deliverables
• Working closely with engineers and other design disciplines
• Supporting the delivery of civil packages to project requirements and schedules
• Providing technical guidance to junior designers where required

Required profile

• 7+ years of civil design experience
• Strong experience across earthworks, roadworks and drainage
• Previous experience on mining, minerals processing, materials handling or heavy industrial projects
• Ability to work independently and manage design deliverables to agreed deadlines
• An Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification would be well regarded

Required skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and/or 12D
• AutoCAD experience
