Traffic Controller

About the role

Wormall Civil is looking for experienced, safety-conscious Traffic Controllers to join its Traffic Management division. The role is based in the WA metro area and involves working across multiple project sites to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently during civil construction work.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor traffic management for works
• Set up, monitor and pack down traffic control equipment and signage
• Use stop/slow bat and two-way radios to control road user flow
• Load and unload vehicles carrying traffic signage and devices
• Maintain safe access for pedestrians and vehicles
• Complete daily traffic diaries and other required documentation
• Control pedestrians and road traffic
• Follow instructions from the Traffic Supervisor and complete documentation accurately
• Promote a strong safety culture and risk management awareness

Required profile

• Over 12 months of experience
• TC + BWTM accreditation required
• WA Construction White Card
• WA Driver's Licence
• Unrestricted working rights; 417 visas not eligible
