Senior Civil Designer - Land Development

About the role

A leading engineering consultancy is recruiting a Senior Civil Designer for its Brisbane Land Development team, through Appoint Recruitment. You will work across projects from concept through to delivery, taking ownership of civil design outcomes on major subdivision and master-planned community projects, alongside civil engineers, project leaders, clients, authorities and other consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Civil design and documentation across land development and subdivision projects
• Detailed design of earthworks, stormwater, drainage and subdivision infrastructure
• Producing practical, buildable design solutions
• Working closely with clients, authorities and project stakeholders
• Supporting a strong pipeline of work across residential, industrial and master-planned developments

Required profile

• Strong civil design experience across land development and subdivision projects, ideally with larger-scale residential, industrial or master-planned developments
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of design outcomes
• An interest in developing beyond technical delivery, with an understanding of clients, business strategy, profitability and growth
• Personality, attitude and cultural fit are strongly emphasised; interstate or overseas candidates may be considered

Required skills

• Strong experience with 12D and 12D Drainage
• Solid capability across earthworks, stormwater, drainage and subdivision infrastructure
