Senior Civil Designer

About the role

A growing medium-sized business in Perth is looking for a Senior Civil Designer to work alongside an experienced civil engineer. The role covers design and documentation of civil works such as roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure, including landmark structures like high-rise buildings, hotels, commercial and retail developments, mixed-use projects and temporary works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the design and documentation of civil works, including roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure.
• Produce long sections, cross sections, pipe networks, grading plans and general arrangements.
• Deliver accurate and efficient drafting to support project delivery within time and quality constraints.
• Support service authority and council submissions through correct formatting and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering Diploma or Degree.
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering for built-environment projects, roads, earthworks, stormwater drainage, sewer and water infrastructure across various development sites.
• Ability to interpret survey data, engineering sketches and service information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12d and AutoCAD.
