Senior Civil Designer

About the role

You will play a key role in providing engineering design input to property development and government sector projects across South East Queensland. Working within an industry‑leading team, you will develop civil design and drafting drawings for a variety of land‑development and built‑form projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate civil design and drafting drawings for drainage, water supply, sewerage, roads and subdivisions, ensuring compliance with SEQ standards and regulations.
• Lead the delivery of the design documentation phase, collaborating with senior designers and project managers on a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience preparing civil design drawings for land development and built‑form projects in Queensland.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in civil design or a related discipline.
• Experience with sewerage and water reticulation design and familiarity with SEQ Water Authority standards.
• Knowledge of Australian standards (e.g., AS/NZS 1170 series, AS 2159, AS 1742) and local council guidelines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Civil 12D.
