Senior CIAM Engineer / Consultant (Auth0)

About the role
A specialist cyber security consultancy serving enterprise clients across Australia is looking for a Senior CIAM Engineer / Consultant with deep Auth0 expertise. The role combines Auth0 engineering, solution design, integration development and technical leadership, working with architects, developers, security teams and business stakeholders. It suits an experienced identity professional who stays hands-on while giving leadership and architectural input.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure and implement enterprise-scale Auth0 solutions, including tenants, applications, connections, organisations and authentication flows
- Develop and customise Auth0 Actions and workflows, and implement OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA and passwordless authentication
- Integrate Auth0 with enterprise applications, APIs and third-party platforms, and develop IaC and CI/CD deployment capabilities
- Support identity migrations, account linking and platform modernisation, and troubleshoot production environments
- Translate requirements into scalable CIAM solutions, write HLDs, LLDs and technical documentation, and lead B2B and B2C identity solutions
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and code reviews, and lead workshops and solution design discussions with customers
Required profile
- Strong hands-on experience in IAM and CIAM, with proven Auth0 delivery in enterprise environments
- Experience developing Auth0 Actions, API integrations and custom authentication workflows
- Experience implementing B2B and/or B2C identity solutions and leading technical delivery while staying hands-on
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Highly regarded: Auth0 or Okta certifications, CIAM transformation program delivery, cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP), migration and modernisation experience, and cyber security consulting background
