Senior CAD Drafter - Highways Design

About the role

AECOM's Brisbane highways team is recruiting a Senior CAD Drafter to deliver highways design across transport infrastructure projects. The team is delivering major local transport projects while securing national work, with consistent project exposure and support from a broader ANZ technical network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver highways design across transport infrastructure projects, including civil arrangements, geometric design for roads, cycleways and footpaths, signage, public utility plant (PUP) and safety barriers.
• Produce high-quality drawings and models in line with RPDM, Austroads and client standards.
• Prepare design documentation and ensure all deliverables meet project specifications, quality standards and delivery timeframes.

Required profile

• An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 7+ years of experience in highways design, ideally within TMR and/or major infrastructure projects.
• An experienced CAD Draftsperson based in South East Queensland (SEQ).
• Proven experience producing high-quality CAD drawings and design documentation.

Required skills

• Desirable: experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Navisworks or Revizto.
