Senior Business Development Manager NSW

About the role

Bright & Duggan Group is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager for NSW, reporting to the NSW State Manager. You will lead the state's business development function, drive customer acquisition, build strategic industry relationships and grow the company's presence and customer base across NSW while leading and supporting a team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute the NSW business development strategy and develop annual growth plans
• Drive customer acquisition and market development, and monitor market trends and competitors
• Build relationships with referral partners, industry stakeholders and prospective customers
• Manage pipeline performance, forecasting and CRM reporting
• Support complex proposals, tenders and strategic opportunities
• Lead, coach and develop Business Development Managers and onboarding team members
• Partner with operational teams on onboarding and customer transitions, and represent the group at industry and networking events

Required profile

• Proven success in business development, sales leadership, customer acquisition or commercial relationship management
• Previous experience in Strata Management, Building Management or Facilities Management is essential
• Strong understanding of the NSW strata and property industry, with existing industry networks
• Track record of achieving growth, revenue and customer acquisition targets
• Experience leading business development or customer-facing teams and managing stakeholder and referral partner relationships
• Experience supporting tenders, proposals and negotiations

Required skills

• Current driver's licence
• Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
• Analytical ability to assess commercial performance, pipeline and forecasting data
