Senior Bridge Designer – Structural Modeller

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Structural Modeller to join its Western Australian Structural Group, delivering major bridge and transport infrastructure projects across WA. Reporting to the WA Structural Discipline Manager, you will work on both concept and detailed design, collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop structural models and detailed drawings for bridge and transport projects.
• Apply advanced computer‑aided design techniques to support concept and detailed design phases.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, clients and regulatory authorities to ensure design compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards and practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural drafting/modelling, preferably on MRWA bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and infrastructure drafting practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
