Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Commercial, Technology & Payments

About the role

HWL Ebsworth is recruiting a Senior Associate / Special Counsel for its Brisbane technology, sourcing and payments practice, led by partners Yuban Moodley and Michael Boughey. The role sits within a national practice serving private and government clients on complex commercial contracts, procurement, technology, payments, IP and data. The position is predominantly with partner Yuban Moodley.

Required profile

• Corporate, commercial, technology and/or financial services lawyers with the skill set and passion to draft and negotiate a range of commercial contracts.
• Experience or interest in the public sector, financial services, technology and health sectors.
• At least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Good working knowledge of contract law and good drafting skills.
• A track record of advising on and delivering transactions for clients.
• An appetite to mentor the firm's junior lawyers.
