Senior Architect – Urban Transport Projects

About the role

Hassell is seeking an experienced Senior Architect or Project Architect to lead urban transport projects in our Perth studio. You will work closely with senior leadership, clients and consultants, guiding multidisciplinary teams through the delivery of high‑impact civic and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of urban transport and public infrastructure projects.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Coordinate project documentation and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage design outcomes and ensure project milestones are met.
• Mentor junior staff and support small team delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex architectural or infrastructure projects.
• Confidence in leading project coordination and documentation packages.
• Strong communication skills for managing relationships across clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Calm, practical problem‑solving approach.
• Interest in urban transport, infrastructure or civic projects.
• Based in Perth or willing to relocate with full Australian working rights.
