Senior Analyst – Demand Planning & Reporting (Technology)

About the role

BlueScope is seeking a Senior Analyst to enhance technology demand planning, prioritisation and reporting across its Global Corporate and Enterprise Services portfolio. The role will provide clear, costed and actionable analysis to support investment decisions and improve visibility of technology spend value.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and validate technology demand requests, preparing inputs for prioritisation discussions.
• Analyse demand, capacity, cost, benefits and supplier consumption across run, change and project investments.
• Maintain benefits baselines, track outcomes and highlight gaps for review.
• Build and maintain financial models and templates for OPEX, CAPEX and recoveries.
• Support monthly accruals, rolling forecasts and management reporting by reconciling cost and supplier data.
• Translate complex portfolio and financial information into clear reporting on demand pressure, investment trade‑offs and value realised.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Vendor Management to align supplier commitments with approved demand.
• Improve demand, planning and reporting processes using Excel, Power BI and automation tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in planning, forecasting, management reporting or demand intake within a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to model costs, scenarios and run‑rate outcomes.
• Proven ability to turn complex financial data into clear insight for non‑financial stakeholders.
