Senior Accounts & Administration Officer

About the role

Broome Golf Club is hiring a full-time Senior Accounts & Administration Officer in Broome, Western Australia. The role covers the day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and financial administration of a busy community organisation, working closely with the Club Manager and an external accounting team. A qualified accountant is not required.

Key responsibilities

• Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
• Payroll processing and employee records
• Accounts payable, receivable and bank reconciliations
• Cash-flow forecasting and financial reporting
• General office and Club administration
• Working closely with the external accounting team

Required profile

• Solid practical bookkeeping and accounts experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoys hands-on accounts work
• Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of the role

Required skills

• Good Xero (or similar) and Excel skills
