Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Audemars Piguet's first boutique in Australia as a Senior Accountant, responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial operations, compliance and reporting while supporting the local business.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance contact for the Australian boutique, managing accounts payable, receivable, cash, fixed assets and expense claims.
• Lead month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports, cash‑flow forecasts, variance analyses and support inventory reconciliations.
• Coordinate tax and statutory compliance, GST/BAS reporting and audit deliverables.
• Maintain internal control frameworks and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with a professional qualification (CA, CPA) preferred.
• 5‑7 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment, preferably retail or luxury.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax regulations and internal controls.
• Proactive, hands‑on attitude with excellent analytical and stakeholder‑management skills.
