Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Findex in Sydney as a Senior Accountant and work across a diverse client portfolio. You will deepen your technical and advisory skills while mentoring junior talent and supporting your CA/CPA studies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax compliance work, including BAS, financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for various entities.
• Contribute to strategic business advice and commercial advisory projects alongside experienced Partners.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners to ensure accurate, timely delivery of work.
• Support and mentor junior team members and help clients maximise cloud accounting software.

Required profile

• Public practice experience with a developing ability to lead and support others.
• Achieved, working towards, or interested in completing a CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen with solid technical accounting and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud accounting products such as Xero, MYOB and Excel.
