About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing advisory team. You will work closely with a portfolio of business clients in the health, legal and finance sectors, moving beyond routine compliance to provide strategic tax and business advice.

Key responsibilities

Lead the preparation and review of financial statements for diverse business clients.
Prepare and review tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Provide tax planning, structuring and strategic business advice to clients.
Mentor junior team members and collaborate with managers and partners.
Maintain high‑quality client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

Minimum 5 years of public practice accounting experience.
CA or CPA qualification (or close to completion).
Strong tax and compliance expertise, including knowledge of Division 7A, trusts and small‑business tax matters.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

Xero (cloud accounting software).
Cloud accounting platforms and tools.
