Senior Accountant – Business Services

About the role

Join a well‑established mid‑tier firm in Adelaide and move beyond pure compliance. You will work directly with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing advisory, strategy and commercial decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as their trusted advisor.
• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for complex structures.
• Work directly with clients on tax planning, structuring and business strategy.
• Support business transactions, succession planning and growth initiatives.
• Mentor and review junior team members, building leadership capability.
• Navigate complex tax matters and engage with the ATO and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• CA/CPA qualified (or close to completion) with 3+ years’ experience in public practice.
• Strong Australian tax knowledge applied commercially.
• Confident client‑facing skills and relationship building.
• Motivated, accountable and seeking progression beyond compliance.
