Senior Account Manager

About the role

Driscoll’s is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive growth of its berry portfolio in the Netherlands. You will work closely with demand management, supply chain, logistics, product, and marketing teams to optimise revenue and distribution across both surplus and demand‑driven markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Driscoll’s mission, values and EMEA operations during the first year.
• Attend international fruit fairs and build internal networks across functions.
• Establish strong relationships with growers, nurseries and customers, learning their processes.
• Become proficient in Driscoll’s ERP (DAX), reporting (Tableau) and forecasting (Anaplan) systems.
• In the second year, create a 1‑year outlook with sales management and product business managers.
• Drive volume growth, improve pricing and reduce claims through strategic planning.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to shorten supply chains and optimise cold‑chain logistics.
• Lead key customer meetings, including seasonal reviews and product previews.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in commercial sales, preferably within the food or agricultural sector.
• Proven ability to build relationships at all organisational levels, from junior staff to C‑level executives.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting volume and pricing targets.
• Excellent analytical skills and the capacity to make timely, strategic decisions.
